Kristin Luoma

Hi, my name is Kristin!

While my current day job focuses on Business and Community Development with the Government of Ontario, I also have an educational background in Health Promotion, Kinesiology and Education; all of which contribute to my knowledge of the human body, movement and of course, YOGA!

Yoga has been a part of my life for over 10 years, and my practice has helped me grow stronger, more flexible and fearless, both on and off the mat. Yoga inspires me to live each moment more authentically.

I completed my 200hour Power Yoga training with Power Yoga Canada and have taken additional training in Deep Flow and Yin Yoga. I will always be a student of the practice and am grateful for the wisdom my teachers have shared with me.

In my classes, I love to combine creative sequencing, a spirit of playfulness and a dose of inspiration to help you deepen your practice. I seek to help others thrive in life by nurturing body, mind and soul with yoga, and my hope is that you step off the mat feeling refreshed, balanced and empowered.

Rebecca Wright

Hey – I’m Rebecca, or Bec as I’m often referred to.

I am a 200-hour Certified Power Yoga teacher, certified through Power Yoga Canada, and I have taken additional training in Yoga for Children as well as Yoga for Sexual Health.

My teachings are rooted in breath, awareness, strength, fun, and community. Our little yoga community has become such a special group to me, and seeing it grow over the last few years has been a gift. From those who have never tried yoga before to the most experienced of yogis, I welcome everyone into my classes with open arms and encouraging words to challenge themselves, to be bold, and to not take it so seriously – dance breaks on the mat are always encouraged!

In my Power Yoga classes you will step onto your mat, find yourself grounded into the
present moment, break a wicked sweat, and then celebrate your hardwork with
relaxation and meditation. My aim is for you to leave our space feeling strong, balanced, clear-minded, and proud.
Outside of the studio, my career is in health tech and I’m a mom to an amazing little girl. Some of my favourite things include good coffee, baking and cooking, writing, spending time on the water, and being with my family.

See you on your mats!

Leslie Campbell

 Leslie Campbell
Hello/aanii. My name is Leslie Campbell. I am an elementary school teacher and Hatha yoga instructor living on Manitoulin Island. In my early years of elementary school teaching, I developed a passion for helping my students to foster well-being. This led me to complete a Trauma-Informed Yoga for Youth certificate through YogaEd and a Mindfulness Educator Essentials Course through Mindful Schools in 2019. These
courses helped me to understand the nuances of working with individuals who have experienced trauma and prioritize sensitivity, compassion and inclusivity when I teach. It was powerful to see how these breathwork and grounding exercises supported my students’ mental health. I continue to remain curious about how mindfulness, movement and breathwork can help us navigate the difficulties in our day-to-day lives. I recently completed a ten month 200-Hour Embodied Wisdom Yoga Teacher Training through The School of Living Yoga. This training supported me on an intensive self-inquiry journey so that I can teach yoga and meditation from my heart. I am currently completing a 100-hour Moon to Moon Restorative Yoga Teacher Training which is expanding my repertoire of rejuvenating postures that help facilitate a deep state of relaxation and meditation. My classes embody a gentle and nurturing style. I foster a sense of autonomy in my students and support the activation of the parasympathetic nervous system. Students in my class can expect to experience a sense of calm and restoration as we move throughout the poses.
I would be honoured for you to join me for my class. Whether you are a beginner to yoga or have a lot of experience, my classes will help provide you with a safe space for exploration and growth. I hope to help you nurture your well-being and embrace the transformative power of yoga.

Kim Hunt

I’m passionate about teaching yoga with a supportive, nurturing trauma informed lens that offers plenty of options, choice, and exploration. My love of yoga grew roots in a Hatha Yoga class at the Anishnabe Spiritual Center lead by Arturo Garcia Olivera, a Yoga Master who exemplifies and shares the ancient practice of yoga on and off the mat with grace and humility. This experience was transformative for me and with a strong desire to deepen my own practice I embraced the 200hr Yoga Teacher Training that Arturo offered. I’ve been privileged to facilitate others in nurturing a deeper relationship with self through embodied movement, meditation and breathwork as a gateway to deepening connection to the inner self. Loving kindness, gratitude and compassion for self and others are woven into all practices. As a lifelong learner, I have immersed myself in further studies to gain skills in Pain Management, Trauma, Mindfulness, Yoga Therapy and Bio-Mechanics. The knowledge gained from these rich teachings is infused in facilitating your practice whether it be in a group or one-on-one /private. I look forward to sharing the beautiful gift of yoga and practices that support personal, interpersonal, and collective healing with you should the offerings meet your needs.
